Explore the ruins of Los Angeles in this epic DLC.
Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores is the massive DLC expansion that takes Aloy to the volcanic ruins of Los Angeles, now a chain of tropical islands surrounding the Hollywood sign. New machine types adapted to the aquatic and volcanic environments provide fresh combat challenges, including the massive Bilegut and the terrifying Waterwing. The narrative introduces a compelling new character and deepens the overarching story of the Zeniths and their plans for Earth. Environmental design showcases PS5 capabilities with real-time lava flows, underwater exploration, and dense tropical vegetation. New weapons and skill trees expand Aloy's arsenal for the endgame challenges. The climactic boss fight is one of the largest in the series, spanning multiple phases across a dynamically changing battlefield.
